Professor Robert Kenzer of the University of Richmond gives a lecture on the “rise of the Southern conservative response and the Klu Klux Klan.” Very interesting one hour look at the violent response to black suffrage and Republican ascendancy by white conservatives. The lecture gives a particularly close look at the conservative backlash in North Carolina and Mississippi.
