The proposed 250-foot-tall triumphal arch proposed by President Trump will interfere with 37 other historic sites in Washington according to an assessment by the National Park Service. Several of the sites relate to the Civil War.
The Trump arch will be 250 feet high. It is twice as tall as the Lincoln Memorial, and it is placed on a historic road connecting Robert E. Lee’s Home with the Lincoln Memorial.
