The Civil War Institute has another tour posted. This one looks at two iconic farms on the Gettysburg battlefield. The tour is called “War at the Doorstep: The Divergent Experiences of Two Farm Families Under Fire” and it takes the viewer to the Codori Farm and Rose Farm. Dr. Ashley Whitehead Luskey from Gettysburg College does a great job presenting the experiences of both soldiers and civilians at the two farms, and what happened to the people who had lived in them after the battle. Really good materials in here that even those of us who have been to the battlefield many times may not know. As with the other tour videos from the CWI conference, there are some tech problems that may make you think the tour is finished. Stick with it to the end. It is worth it.
