Brown, Eric Foner, Stephanie McCurry, and Bailey Yellen held a Zoom meeting this week to discuss the Black Lives Matter movement and the history of Abolition, the Civil War and Reconstruction. Eric Foner is the preeminent historian of Reconstruction, Chris Brown is a leading authority on the Abolition Movement, Stephanie McCurry is the author of Confederate Reckoning and Bailey Yellen focuses on Black resistance to slavery.
