The New York Times has a new “Book Club” discussion of Percival Everett’s novel James which tells us the story of Jim from Mark Twain’s Huck Finn. The story is about James and Huck escaping from slavery and the coming of the Civil War. This discussion includes spoilers, so it is designed for people who have read the book.
