I have found yet another bunch of other free books.
As my regular readers know, Project Muse is making hundreds of Civil War and Reconstruction books free on-line during the Corona Crisis. You just need to click on the title of the books (not the picture of the book) to be taken to web page where the book is stored. There you can read the book on-line or download it to your computer (a chapter at a time) and read it later.
While you are on lock-down you can still explore history. This is the eleventh set of books I am posting. You can find the other lists by clicking the Free Books graphic on the right.
Today’s offering includes books from the University of Tennessee Press and a miscellany of books from other publishers that I missed before. There is a biography of Andrew Johnson, a well-regarded history of the Ku Klux Klan, and books on the evolution of Southern society.
