In this video Chris Mackowski of Emerging Civil War, talks about “The Myth of Grant’s Silence.” The talk was videoed at Grant’s Cottage in the Adirondack Mountains. The talk discusses Grant during the Overland Campaign, during his presidency, his relationships with Longstreet and Sherman and a whole lot more. Mackowski’s Grant “Had much to say, and cared about how it was said.”
The videographer moved the camera location about ten minutes in, improving the sound and video.
