The Grant Cottage near Saratoga, N.Y. is hosting its first-ever annual Grant Cottage Literary Landmark Authors talk on Saturday, September 24th, 2022 at 4:30 PM. Historian Dr. Chris Mackowski will present a talk on “The Myth of Grant’s Silence.” Mackowski is a professor at St. Bonaventure University and he is the author of eight books and the Managing Editor of the Emerging Civil War book series and blog. He is a popular speaker on the Civil War.
