Smithsonian: Free Resources for Understanding the History of Racism in the U.S.

The Smithsonian has put together a great collection of free resources for understanding the history of racism in the United States.  There are links to articles, maps, and artifacts covering, slavery, Jim Crow, and modern racism. This is very interesting for history buffs, and the materials can be used to teach high schoolers as well.
